This product is hands down the best fly line management system I’ve purchased. It is so flexible and the materials used are very supple and lay down super flat on the skiffs surface. The color choices are great also, the aqua color matches my skiff perfectly and the combination of white spikes really compliments the boats colors. Very satisfied!
As a Captain who’s used an original SilverkinG 16 Signature Series for over 30 years, I recently upgraded my boat to a another, newer, Signature Series. As part of my upgrade process, I moved my casting platform with backrest back on the deck as far as possible. With the platform at the back of the deck it leaves more deck space for the fly lines, especially with a wind at your back, which is the norm when fishing fly fishermen. Once I had the backing plate and tie-down bolt installed I ordered the Mat-30” which so far is the perfect upgrade, especially with a bow mount trolling motor and it’s power cable. Thanks Mark & Mason, great design and product, really love the durability too.
This things works really well. It packs up small, doesn’t move when in use and was super easy to clean. Would recommend to anyone with a fly line in the boat.

This mat has been a great addition, especially once you have it positioned correctly. The positioning could have been better illustrated in the directions for new mat users.
Easy to fold up and stow in between spots and clean up is simple. A solid weight that does it worry me too much about flying away.
