This mat has been a great addition, especially once you have it positioned correctly. The positioning could have been better illustrated in the directions for new mat users.
Easy to fold up and stow in between spots and clean up is simple. A solid weight that does it worry me too much about flying away.

Love my casting mat! Stays put, keeps all your Line mess in organized loops on the deck . First weekend using it I placed in a tournament. I Have another ladies event this next week out of town and plan on carrying it with me love the cool color!
Not a terribly complicated piece of equipment, but it did exactly what I wanted and exactly what I thought it would do. Fly line stayed where I needed to without spikes all over the boat.
What a game changer. Even with the bucket I get knots in my line. Today not a one and I didn’t even stretch out my line!!!

I like the weight, size and shape of the mat. I looked down and the line was coiled in the fingers and it works great! As advertised!
First impression is Wow. Much larger than I thought it would be. Very well made and love the shape as it fits around the casting platform. Only knock (if there is one) is that you can't order with all tall spikes, but that's minor. It's worked very well so far, easily my favorite line mat out there.
So glad I added this to my fishing equipment. Well made, versatile, and easy to use and store. A winner!
I have used a bunch of different mats and buckets in the past and have not been a fan. Lately, fly line tangles have been driving me nuts, so I figured I would try the SFC mat. I've now used it 3 times and it's worked like an absolute charm. Keeps the line on the boat and significantly cuts down on the number of tangles. I think the softness of the spikes and the varying sizes is what really makes a difference in comparison to some of the other mats that I've used and the shape of it works really well if you have a casting platform. Great product!
