Fly Line Mat (20-inch)
Our 20-inch mats are ideal for paddle boards, Gheenoe or the angler wanting a smaller profile mat. They also make a great travel companion for guided adventures. Our unique wing design catches more line than conventional oval or rectangular mats and can be positioned in front or behind
you to maximize performance.
Each mat comes with 15, 1.5” spikes. Spikes can be removed for calm conditions or added when it blows giving you maximum adjustability for all conditions.
Grommets can be added to secure the mat to your board. Click here for installation instructions.
Our mats will last a lifetime! They are impermeable and saltwater/UV resistant so they won't harden, tear, or fade. They are flexible and foot-friendly and can be folded, rolled up, etc., and still retain their original shape without any creasing or permanent damage.

You guys did it! You filled the exact need I had. I wanted a line management system with out the commitment. Either you threw a towel down that blew away, or you had to permanently mount spikes on your boat that look terrible and tear off over time. THIS THING IS PERFECT.

We had a few mats sent down for our guides at El Pescador Lodge to try out, and they love them. We will be ordering more so all of our guides can run them. With the lip on our casting decks, we can leave them in place while running from spot to spot. The shape is great, grabs line perfectly, and the line comes off the mat cleanly. Really great product!
I've been a Florida fly-fishing guide for 21 years. My 1st generation SFC stripping mat has been an indispensable part of my arsenal. Super happy with this mat, I love the shape it lays nice around my casting platform. I love that it’s pliable and doesn’t retain memory. I throw it in my stripping bucket at the end of each day and it lays nice and flat the next morning. Super happy with this product and highly recommend to anyone on the fence.

Well made product and has a little more weight to it then other products. The tacky rubber really bites to the skiff deck in the heavier winds. Overall great product and lays out well around the casting platform!
This is going to be the perfect travel spike pad!!! Just spent a windy month in Belize, about half the guides had baskets or spike pads. I ordered my SFC while in Belize and it was waiting for me when I returned home. I will be taking it with me to Mexico next month. Hopefully it’s not windy but I’ll be prepared if it is!!!
These mats are by far the best I’ve ever used, they grab line like a big man reaching for a hotdog at Costco. They stay put like a child with gorilla glue on their fingers and they take a beating like a carpet getting the dust beat off it. Get one, you won’t regret it at all!
