If you’ve made it to this page, I’m sure you’re wondering—who are these guys?  SuperFly Composites is a father son venture that was born out of our passion to be out on the flats.  Our home waters are Naples, FL; however, over the years, we’ve explored the entire Florida peninsula, Alabama, Louisiana and the Texas coast.  You’ll most often find dad on the poling platform and son on the deck with the fly rod.  I wouldn’t have it any other way and am blessed to share these adventures with my son and trusted best friend.

We started making fly line mats and deck spikes for our own use because we were not satisfied with what the market had to offer.  Although there are some good options, they did not meet our needs and we felt there was great opportunity to innovate.  So, we started making prototypes and casting various materials.  After a ton of trial and error, some hilarious, we came up with a design that we consider special. 

We didn’t consider it a business opportunity until we started making mats and spikes for friends.  After you hear “you should sell these” a hundred times, you start thinking.  Fortunately, I was at a point in my career where it was clearly time to do something else.  Now there’s no turning back!

We are confident you’ll find SFC fly line mats and spikes not only superior in design but extremely durable despite the harshness of the environment which they are used.  In fact, a simple wash down after use is all that is necessary to last a lifetime.
